Open House Melbourne Tours

Exclusive access to Paragon and BETA By STH BNK

We are delighted that both BETA By STH BNK at Hanover House and Paragon will feature in their upcoming programme taking place on the weekend of July 24–25, 2021. Open House Melbourne is an independent organisation that fosters public appreciation for architecture and public engagement in conversations about the city’s future.

BETA By STH BNK

BETA By STH BNK is a revolutionary testing ground that explores the future of retail space, programming and new business models, through an event series that tests new forms of dining, wellness, fashion and design outside retail’s traditional brick and mortar limits. We worked with boundary-pushing architecture collective SIBLING to bring this spatial vision to life, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Hanover House as it comes together ahead of the official BETA launch. Bookings are free, and more info can be found here.

Paragon

Designed by Fender Katsalidis for Beulah, the newly completed Paragon juxtaposes the old heritage facade with the new in the form of Australia’s first elevated indoor forest. Open House Melbourne tours will be conducted by representatives from Fender Katsalidis and Beulah to showcase the innovative three-storey ‘urban forest’, composed of mature trees, leafy canopies, climbing gardens and grassy spaces. OPEN HOUSE MELBOURNE UPDATE

In light of Victoria’s latest lockdown, Beulah will postpone our involvement with Open House Melbourne as planned on July 24-25, 2021. While we were excited to introduce our highly anticipated BETA by STH BNK at Hanover House and Paragon, we feel that postponing the tours is the right decision, as the well-being of collaborators, staff and patrons remains our priority.

Both of these groundbreaking projects are best discovered in person and we look forward to showcase BETA by STH BNK at Hanover House and Paragon to their full potential in the near future.
