We are committed to delivering a COVID-safe event for guests, collaborators and staff with respect to the guidelines issued by the Victorian Government and the Department of Health. We are carefully monitoring the situation and will update this page with any changes as they become apparent. You will also be updated on any event changes via your pre-event email. We ask that you please refer to the Victorian public exposure sites here and follow any government recommendations, including getting tested or self-isolating if required.
BETA is following government advice and guidelines. Currently, Victorians are required to carry a mask and wear it in certain situations. We’ll update you on the conditions of entry via your pre-event email and on this page. Please bring your own mask to the venue.
The safety of our guests, collaborators and staff is our highest priority. We have implemented a number of COVID-Safe protocols. Here’s what we’re doing:
Staggered or timed entries at ticketed events
Managing capacities at all times throughout the venue
Implementing contact tracing through digital check-ins using QR codes
Sanitiser stations and physical-distancing floor markers throughout the venue
100% digital tickets and cashless payments to limit handling
Digital versions of events for those who can’t attend in-person
Flexible ticketing to make refunds available to anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or must self-isolate
Providing up-to-date information via email 48 hours before your event
Providing COVID-Safe updates on our social channels when required
TICKET REFUNDS DUE TO COVID
We urge you to please stay home if you, or someone you are in contact with, is unwell. You can find out more information about getting tested and how to isolate here. You will be entitled to a refund if you, a member of your booking party, or someone you’ve been in contact with, exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 after you make your booking and prior to the event. The symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell. You must contact BETA as soon as possible via email@example.com after displaying symptoms or coming into contact with someone displaying symptoms. We will not be able to provide a refund if you contact us after the event.
EVENT CHANGES DUE TO COVID
We may need to postpone or cancel events due to COVID-19, but you will either be refunded or the event will be rescheduled. We’ll keep you informed via email.
