A Celebration And Appreciation For Architecture And Design
Visitors will be given a tour through various spaces within BETA's multi-storey activated testing area that explores the future of retail space, programming and business models. It is conceptualised as a vehicle to bring together local and international brands, revered artists and makers, experiential events, immersive dining experiences and more.
As an ode to conscious design, the fit-out at BETA (Beulah Experimental Testing Area) centres on circularity. They have repurposed and reused existing materials and objects within the building, speculating on a future where retail spaces embrace sustainability in innovative and daring ways. Combined with the use of environmentally-friendly bioplastics, soft furnishings and moveable partitions, the result is a chameleon conversion that allows for limitless layouts. BETA was created in response to a significant generational, socio-economic and lifestyle shift, causing brands and landlords to explore what the future will look like.
