The Future From Waste Lab opens its doors for a group 'stitch' session. Hand crafters are invited into the space to work on their own individual projects, share knowledge, and open a conversation about slow fashion, waste and what the future looks like.
Note: this is not a structured, guided class but an opportunity to work on your own projects alongside like-minded people.
Limited to 15 people, so book now to avoid disappointment.

VENUE ACCESS
We aim to make all guests, staff and collaborators feel welcome at BETA events. There is a wheelchair access ramp at the entry and wheelchair accessible lifts within the building, but please note that due to narrow areas within the venue, this event requires assisted access for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. If you have accessibility requirements we encourage you to book a free companion ticket, so that a carer or friend can assist you throughout the building. ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Wilson Parking at 2 Freshwater Place, Southbank is approximately 3 minutes from the venue and has a number of designated disabled bays. The Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park is approximately 10 minutes from the venue and has wheelchair accessible parking available on the lower level.
ACCESSIBLE DROP OFF
There is no formal drop off area onsite, however there is a small break in parking with curb cut access on Power Street, which can be used for quick drop offs if needed.
ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE
There is a wheelchair access ramp at the entry of the building and wheelchair accessible lifts within the building.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearest accessible train stop: Flinders Street Station is approximately 10 minutes from the venue and is fully wheelchair accessible.
Nearest accessible tram stop: Tram Stop 115 (Casino/Southbank/Queens Bridge St) is approximately 5 minutes from the venue and is a low level access stop. This stop is partially serviced by low-floor trams. Visit ptv.vic.gov.au to find out if your tram route has low floor trams.
