WORKSHOP 01

WORKSHOP 01 served as a provocative exhibition, presenting new creations by eleven emerging designers who showcased a wide range of viewpoints. Future From Waste Lab Open Studios

With the Future From Waste Lab doors open during Open Studios, guests were able to have a glimpse of our disruptive, experimental fashion and retail space that turns textile waste into want through washing, dyeing, cutting, sewing and selling. Facilitated by BETA By STH BNK, and creative directed by KITX, the Lab works with iconic labels with a sustainable focus to create small runs of garments and accessories entirely from waste.

Gloop: Exploring Urban Food Systems in 2049 (Part 1)

Participants delved into the future of urban food systems by touring a “Gloop” Factory as imagined in 2049. This scenario depicted a world where the temperature had risen by 1.5 degrees, global food systems faced significant strain, the population was approaching 10 billion, and the planet had undergone rapid changes.
