Not your usual dinner party, Higher Order extends far beyond the commonplace and veers into the fantastical where Pickett’s menu is complemented by an ethereal world of immersive design, art, performance, lighting, installations and signature cocktails for extraordinary nights of gustatory brilliance and ceremony.

Restaurateur and chef Scott Pickett, the culinary master behind Longrain, Matilda, Estelle, Chancery Lane, Le Shoppe, Pastore and Pickett’s Deli, will take Melburnians on a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic adventure at STH BNK By Beulah’s Hanover House.

A glorious collision of dining, futuristic design and theatrical performance, Higher Order is not your usual dinner party; diners will be treated to an evocative and multi-sensory dining experience that merges scent, sound and taste into an unmissable culinary hallucination.

Duration

2 x 90 minute sessions per evening.
Session 1: 6pm
Session 2: 8.30pm
Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes prior to your session. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

NOTES

Higher Order caters for vegetarians and gluten free (but not vegan). Please ensure that you select the vegetarian and/or gluten free options during your ticket purchase. If you have selected a vegetarian or gluten free option, please also let the Higher Order staff know this when you arrive at the event. Please be aware that due to the highly creative nature of this event some menu items may not be available on occasion.

ACCESSIBLE SERVICES

This event is located on Level 5. Lift access is available from the ground floor for those requiring assistance.

VENUE ACCESS

We aim to make all guests, staff and collaborators feel welcome at BETA events. There is a wheelchair access ramp at the entry and wheelchair accessible lifts within the building, but please note that due to narrow areas within the venue, this event requires assisted access for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. If you have accessibility requirements we encourage you to book a free companion ticket, so that a carer or friend can assist you throughout the building. ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Wilson Parking at 2 Freshwater Place, Southbank is approximately 3 minutes from the venue and has a number of designated disabled bays. The Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park is approximately 10 minutes from the venue and has wheelchair accessible parking available on the lower level.

ACCESSIBLE DROP OFF

There is no formal drop off area onsite, however there is a small break in parking with curb cut access on Power Street, which can be used for quick drop offs if needed.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE

There is a wheelchair access ramp at the entry of the building and wheelchair accessible lifts within the building.

ACCESSIBLE BATHROOMS

Accessible bathrooms are located on Level 4 and Level 5.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Nearest accessible train stop: Flinders Street Station is approximately 10 minutes from the venue and is fully wheelchair accessible.

Nearest accessible tram stop: Tram Stop 115 (Casino/Southbank/Queens Bridge St) is approximately 5 minutes from the venue and is a low level access stop. This stop is partially serviced by low-floor trams. Visit ptv.vic.gov.au to find out if your tram route has low floor trams.
